Rahman coming together to create a powerful background score that adds depth to the experience.
The teaser is packed with impressive VFX and a sense of scale that hints at the film’s ambition. But for many fans, the biggest moment is finally seeing Ranbir Kapoor step into the role of Lord Rama—a reveal that had been eagerly awaited for a long time.

Even before the India launch, excitement had already started building. A video of actor Ali from a Zoom call went viral, where the actress shared her thoughts, saying, “Ramayana’s unit is going to be out tomorrow. It is a unit called the Rama unit. I think Ranbir Kapoor has done such a beautiful job, and I just can’t wait for you guys to see it. It’s just out of this world.”
The teaser was first showcased at a special IMAX screening in Burbank, Los Angeles, attended by director Nitesh Tiwari, producer Namit Malhotra, and Ranbir Kapoor. The idea was to introduce the story to a global audience, and early reactions from the event quickly made their way online, adding to the anticipation.
During a Q&A session, Ranbir Kapoor spoke about the responsibility of playing Lord Rama, referring to him as Maryada Purushottam—the ideal man. “He stands for compassion, for courage, for righteousness, and forgiveness,” Kapoor shared, highlighting how seriously he approached the role.
