The shooting of the upcoming film ‘Fauzi’, starring Prabhas, has been temporarily stopped after a tragic road accident near Hyderabad claimed the life of a crew member and left five others injured. The incident happened while the film unit was travelling towards Ramoji Film City, one of the key shooting locations for the project.
The accident has brought a sudden pause to an already advanced production schedule.
According to reports by Times Now, the mishap took place near Abdullapurmet on the outskirts of Hyderabad, close to the Toopranpet Bridge under the Choutuppal Police Station limits. The crew members were travelling in a vehicle when it reportedly lost control.
The vehicle crashed into cement divider blocks, causing severe damage. One crew member died on the spot, while five others sustained injuries of varying severity. All the injured were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Authorities are yet to release further details on the condition of the injured.
Even though the shoot has been halted, ‘Fauzi’ is reportedly in its final phase of production. As per 123Telugu, Mythri Movie Makers CEO Cherry revealed that nearly 80 per cent of the film has already been completed.
Only three major action sequences featuring Prabhas are left to be shot. The production house had been working on a tight schedule to finish the remaining portions.
