A gold jewelry theft incident at C.C. Sherraff Hospital in the Kachiguda police station limits is causing a stir.
Anil Kumar, the son of patient D. Krishna, noticed that approximately 3 tolas of gold jewelry on his father’s hand had mysteriously disappeared after he went inside to see his father and then returned.
Upon learning of this, the patient’s relatives became deeply distressed and confronted the hospital management.
The patient’s relatives expressed their anger, alleging that the lack of proper security arrangements in the hospital was the reason for the incident. They demanded that the CCTV camera footage be immediately reviewed and strict action be taken against those responsible.
Upon receiving the information, Kachiguda police arrived at the scene and launched an investigation. The police are continuing their investigation to determine whether it was a theft or an accidental loss.
The police stated that they have registered a case based on the complaint from the patient’s relatives and are conducting an investigation from all angles.
