A major update has emerged regarding the incident on Sunday evening in Mumbai’s Juhu area, where shots were fired at Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff’s car. Reports indicate that the Kota police in Rajasthan have taken suspects linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang into custody at the Kota railway station. Superintendent of Police (SP) Tejaswini Gautam is set to provide further details on the case at 1:00 PM. On Sunday evening, unidentified assailants opened fire on Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff’s vehicle. While Tiger Shroff narrowly escaped harm, his driver sustained a gunshot wound and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment. Shortly after the incident, the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang released an audio clip claiming responsibility for the attack.
Following the incident, the three assailants fled Mumbai by train. Acting on an alert from the Mumbai Police, the Kota City Police immediately swung into action. Under the instructions of SP Tejaswini Gautam, an intensive search operation was launched across trains. During this operation, the Kota police tracked down and apprehended the three suspects. The police team has brought them to Kota, where they are being subjected to rigorous interrogation by senior officials, including SP Tejaswini Gautam.
The suspects were taken into custody by the Kota police from a train at 10:00 AM. They were traveling in a general compartment on the Pune-Jaipur Superfast Express (Train No. 12939) and were headed toward Jaipur. The suspects had boarded the train at Vasai Road. They were intercepted when the train arrived at Kota around 10:00 AM. The Kota police and the Railway Protection Force (RPF) had reached Ramganj Mandi—a station prior to Kota—and boarded the train from there to carry out the operation. They were located while on the train and subsequently taken off upon its arrival in Kota.
Of the three miscreants apprehended by the Kota City Police, two are from Haryana, while the third is from Bihar—though he had been residing in Maharashtra for a long time. After committing the act, the three immediately fled toward the railway station, boarded a train, and were heading in the direction of Jaipur. One of the individuals is a minor. The police team tasked with their apprehension consisted of 15 personnel; the Government Railway Police (GRP) also assisted in the operation.
On Sunday evening, as Tiger Shroff’s car was passing by a football ground in the Juhu area, three assailants on a motorcycle fired 4 to 5 rounds at the vehicle. Tiger Shroff remained unharmed in the attack, but his driver, Firdous, sustained injuries and has been admitted to a hospital.
