A celebration was held in Hyderabad on the 23rd of this month to mark the 250th anniversary of US independence. As part of the festivities, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, alongside US Ambassador Sergio Gor, unveiled a special plaque naming the road adjacent to the US Consulate ‘Donald Trump Avenue’. Prominent American tech companies such as Microsoft, Google, and Amazon are located near this road. The government stated that the decision was taken to further strengthen trade, business, and investment ties between Telangana and the United States. The road is situated in the Financial District of Nanakramguda.
According to reports, the decision to rename the road is part of a plan by the Revanth Reddy-led state government to name key roads in the district after internationally renowned figures. The Congress government believes that this move will strengthen bilateral relations between the two nations.
