Telugu actor Ram Charan has a huge fanbase not only in India but outside the nation. He has a loyal following in Japan, thanks to the success of RRR there.
With the release of his highly anticipated sports action drama Peddi, fans gathered in great numbers to celebrate. Among them were two passionate Japanese fans who travelled straight from Tokyo to Hyderabad just to see the movie on the big screen.
In a video posted on social media, two Japanese fans, Masami and Kris, were spotted engaging with the press outside a theatre after watching Peddi. They expressed their excitement over the film and were spotted singing tracks from the soundtrack, such as Rai Rai Raa Raa and Masa Masa.
While interacting, the fans revealed that they travelled from Tokyo to Hyderabad after taking a five-day leave from their jobs. They got to the city two days prior to the movie’s debut to join in the festivities. A local with them disclosed that the pair had already seen the movie three times and intended to view it 10 times while in India.
Ram Charan gained significant popularity in Japan following the release of Magadheera, which cultivated a devoted fan base among Japanese viewers.
