CM Revanth Reddy said that the renovation of Tungabhadra gates will go down in history. He said that the renovation of 33 gates will solve the problems of 3 generations. He said that Tungabhadra will solve the problems of Bellary, Kurnool, Anantapur and Palamuru and said that CR Patil’s specialty is to talk less and do more. He said that he hopes that the water problems between the states of Karnataka, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh will be solved.
CM Revanth Reddy expressed concern that if the water problems are not resolved, they will directly flow into the sea. He said that three CMs met here to find a solution to the Tungabhadra water problem. He said that the discussions have now reached a conclusion and he is confident that Union Minister CR Patil will find a solution. He said that only five to six TMCs of the 15.9 TMCs that should have come through the Rajoli Banda Diversion Scheme are coming, expressing his concern that about ten TMCs of water are not coming to Telangana.

He said that he is confident that this decision will provide a solution to the inter-state water disputes.
