Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy inaugurated Amara Raja Group’s advanced electric vehicle (EV) battery Customer Qualification Plant (CQP) at Divitipally, Mahabubnagar.
The Chief Minister emphasized that `Telangana Rising’ is unstoppable. The initiative targets massive industrial investments through infrastructural development and transparent policies across the industry, tourism, and health sectors. To prevent policy paralysis, Reddy highlighted that his government is maintaining strict policy consistency by building upon investor-friendly frameworks.
Under this economic roadmap, the state aims to double its current 5 percent contribution to the national GDP to 10 percent. The target goals seek to transform Telangana into a $1 trillion economy by 2034 and a $3 trillion economy by 2047.The newly inaugurated CQP represents a milestone in India’s clean energy supply chain. Built with an investment of approximately ₹500 crore, the facility is part of Amara Raja’s ₹1,500 crore Phase 1 investment, which sits within a larger ₹9,500 crore total Giga Corridor programme.
