At the event in Rudrapur, speakers recalled Prime Minister Modi’s 25 years of public service and highlighted the Central Government’s schemes and development initiatives undertaken under his leadership. Prime Minister Modi assumed public office as the Chief Minister of Gujarat on October 7, 2001, and has been serving as the Prime Minister of the country since 2014.
Speakers at the event conveyed congratulations and gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on behalf of the 1.25 crore people of Uttarakhand for his 25 years of public service. They noted that, having served for 13 years as the Chief Minister of Gujarat and 12 years as the Prime Minister of the country, Modi has placed the vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India) before the nation. During this period, schemes such as Jan Dhan Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, Make in India, and Digital India were highlighted, noting that efforts were made through these initiatives to extend government services to a large number of people and empower them both economically and socially.
The programs organized under the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ aim to not only commemorate the Prime Minister’s 25 years in public life but also to connect people with the resolve to build a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India). Events such as the ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ and ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha’ are being organized across all 13 administrative districts of Uttarakhand.
