The Telangana Tamil Sangam (TTS) successfully organized its grand annual community celebration, “Puramanai Virundhu – Vanabhojanam 2025,” at Sanjeevaiah Park. The event brought together several hundred Tamil families from across Hyderabad and Secunderabad, upholding the Sangam’s cherished tradition of celebrating Tamil culture, heritage, and community unity through a festive outdoor gathering.

Embracing Tradition and Community Spirit
The program commenced with the Tamil Thai Vazhthu and the lighting of the Mangala Vilakku, symbolizing an auspicious start and honoring Tamil identity. The event fostered a warm atmosphere of bonding and mutual familiarity as members across generations participated in introduction sessions.
The day was kept vibrant with traditional family games, cultural interactions, and team activities, reflecting the joyous spirit that defines Puramanai Virundhu.

A highlight of the event was the extensive 19+ item traditional Tamil meal, showcasing authentic flavors and festive favorites enjoyed collectively in a joyful community setting. The culinary arrangements reflected the Sangam’s commitment to preserving heritage and offering members a wholesome traditional experience.
Additionally, community stalls displayed Tamil Nadu products, books, home-made items, and business promotion counters, providing a cultural and entrepreneurial platform for members.

Leadership Reflections
M. K. Bose, President of the Telangana Tamil Sangam, remarked:
”Puramanai Virundhu is a celebration of who we are—our values, heritage, and sense of unity. Seeing hundreds of Tamil families come together today as one extended family fills us with pride. These gatherings strengthen relationships and ensure our cultural traditions continue with the next generation.”
S. Rajkumar, General Secretary, added:
”This year’s Vanabhojanam has been one of the most vibrant and well-attended events in recent years. Every segment—from introductions and games to the cultural bond we shared—reflected happiness and togetherness.
Special Appreciations.
