The student, who is in her first year of degree studies at OU Andhra Mahila Sabha, attempted suicide this evening by jumping from the fifth floor of a private hostel near the NCC gate after becoming distressed upon failing four subjects in her exam results.
Traffic police and other personnel on duty there immediately rushed her to Andhra Mahila Hospital.
